报告人简介：
马瑞诗 (Ruth Mostern)，2003年获柏克萊加州大学历史学博士学位，现为美熹德加州大学副教授。出版《分土而治：宋帝国的空间架构》 (Dividing the Realm in Order to Govern: The Spatial Organization of the Song State)（哈佛大学出版社， 2011)，配合本书本人还制作了一套地理信息系统和数据库 (The Digital Gazetteer of the Song Dynasty 参见www.songgis.ucmercedlibrary.info) 。在International Journal of Geographic Information Science（《国际地理信息科学学报》）， Historical Methods (《历史学方法》)等刊物上发表 “From Named Place to Naming Event: Creating Gazetteers for History”和 “Historical Gazetteers: An Experiential Perspective, With Examples from Chinese History”等论文十多篇。黄河大历史的研究获2011-2012年度美国联邦学术基金会的赞助。
